BID PROPOSALS

We are poised to begin construction on your new home. You have selected a floor plan, you have told us what you want in your new home, and we have determined how it will fit on your priceless lot.  Your work is done. It is now our turn to put it all together and let you know how close we are to budget.

Sierra Classic Homes believes in "Fixed Contract Pricing". What that means to you is that unless you ask us to make changes to your home, the pricing will remain the same. There will not be any surprises to you during the construction of your home, and the price you see in your bid will be the price you will have at the time you move in.

Over the last 30 years we have come to the conclusion that buyers like to know how we came up with the price of their home. Because of that, we have broken down the cost into two categories. You will see a total for your house cost and a total for the site costs. Together they comprise the complete cost to you.

How is this different and better than most other builders?  A fixed price gives your peace of mind that the cost will not change during construction.  You may receive bids from other builders that have included just a list of allowances. Sometimes this practice is used in order to deflate the contracted price. The result is change orders during the build process that reflect actual cost. The buyer is then responsible for the difference. It is our desire to provide you only with allowances that you have control over. As an example - lighting, hardware, and appliances are chosen by you and you control their associated cost from the beginning. Our intent is for you to know your total cost upfront!
